Terms of Service

This is the most important term on the page. Mediverse is a teaching tool for medical learners. It is not a clinical decision support system, not a diagnostic device, and not a source of medical advice.

• Nothing here may be used to diagnose, treat, or make any decision about the care of a real patient.
• Case diagnoses and labels are taken from published source datasets and from our own authoring, and are presented for teaching. They are not a clinician’s reading of that patient’s study.
• Some localization targets are machine-estimated and pending clinician review. Where that is true, the case says so.
• Always verify against an authoritative reference and qualified supervision before applying anything you learn here.

The AI tutor, and the questions and flashcards generated by QSpace and AnkiGen, are produced by language models. They can be confidently incorrect. We run automated accuracy checks and label items that fail them, but those checks are not a substitute for your own judgement. Treat every generated item as a draft to be verified, not as a fact.

• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to it secure.
• One account per person. Do not share credentials.
• Provide accurate details. Elevated roles — reviewer, admin — are granted by us, not self-selected, and misrepresenting credentials is grounds for removal.

You keep ownership of the notes and files you bring to QSpace and AnkiGen. You grant us only the permission needed to process them and return your questions or deck, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You must not upload:

• Patient-identifiable information of any kind. This is a hard rule, and it protects people who never agreed to be here.
• Material you do not have the right to use.
• Anything unlawful, or intended to attack or disrupt the service.

Case images come from openly-licensed sources and are used under their licences, with attribution shown on each case. Those licences belong to the original authors and survive anything in these terms. Our own written material — explanations, questions, interfaces and code — remains ours, and you may use it for your personal study but not republish or resell it.

The service is provided as it is, without warranty. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features. Question banks and decks generated in your browser are not stored on our servers — export anything you want to keep.

To the fullest extent the law allows, Mediverse and its creators are not liable for any loss arising from use of the platform, and in particular from any clinical decision influenced by it. If you are unsure about something you read here, the correct next step is a textbook and a supervisor, not this website.

You may delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, particularly the upload rules above.
